You will be solely responsible for the smooth functioning of your department.
Satisfying the objectives/Targets of a Sales & Business development department.
Initiating for sales and development plan for meeting objectives.
Acquiring the customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and
emails.
Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries.
Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential customers.
Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
Gathering market and customer information.
Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
Recording sales / order information and reporting to immediate managers.
Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
Gaining a clear understanding of customers businesses and requirements.
Coordinating with Operations department for providing customers with information & quotations.
Preparing all the relevant documents for internal audit procedures.
Assisting the operations team when required for job openings and closing.
Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues.

Requirements:
Associates degree or equivalent experience.
1-3 years sales experience required.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
Working under pressure and sticking to deadlines.
Very good communication skills (written and spoken).

Coordinate with airlines/shipping lines from beginning to end and answering questions on operational
activities to management and the customers.
Evaluate the nature of the commodity/load, arrange transport and outsource it.
Preparation of quotations with respect to the project inquiry.
Monitor and update status of the shipment to customer.
Preparation of BLs/Airway bills and other related documents.
Preparation of Job card in the system.
Manage timely follow-ups and report to management.
Authority to take decisions in order to realize duties/aims.
Control of operational / financial deviations between quotes and actual orders. Knowledge of working
procedures and give recommendations for improvement.
Comply with norms and regulations within this company.
Perform monthly reporting to management.
Liaise with vendors as and when required.

Requirements:
A University Degree or professional Qualifications Freight Forwarding or Logistics.
Strong Knowledge in UAE Customs Clearance and documentations.
Strong experience within a multinational Forwarder.
Ability to communicate easily with overseas agents. Strong organizational skills.
English fluency, Arabic would be an advantage.
Open and positive approach and character.
Very good communication skills (written and spoken).
Good interpersonal communication / negotiation skills (technical and commercial competent).
Accurateness and attention to detail is required.
Working under pressure and sticking to deadlines.
Proficient computer skills in MS office.

Managing a large multicultural team encompassing, sea operations, road operations, air operations and
customer service

Complete P & L and balance sheet responsibility for freight management and related logistics operations.
Marketing and Business Development of the company’s presence within the region

Risk management
Performance enhancement and succession planning

Development and enhancement of customer relationships

Implementation of projects in accordance with customer requirements
External interface and development of relationships with other industry bodies and governments
including JAFZA, DAFZA, DPA and Customs etc.

Requirements:
To be considered for this great opportunity with a professional team to manage you will need to possess
the following:
A University Degree or professional Qualifications Freight Forwarding or Logistics.
8 to 10 years of both AIR and SEA freight operations and business development experience from a
Freight Forwarding company with at least 3 years experience in a management position.

UAE Port & Customs regulations experience.
Fluency in English both written and oral is essential.
